In the wake of her win, Miss Georgia 1985 was entitled to enter her into the pageant. On Saturday, June 22nd, 1985 she also won the competition. Mohr later went on September of 1985, to represent Georgia at Miss America 1986, a pageant that was hosted in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In spite of her success, she did not place in the Top 10 to win the national title.
