
Lowell began her acting career in Dangerously Close, followed by the role of a minor character in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. Then she moved on to play roles, including co-starring as Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) and, starting in 1996 acting as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross for two seasons in the drama television series Law & Order, a character she reprised in the year 2005 to play a guest character in the spinoff series, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, and reprised the role on the original show in 2022, when it was relaunched for a 21st-season. In the immediate time before landing the role she was unhappy with her acting career . She was considering a degree in documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She stopped acting in the mid-2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice while reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends.
